From Arizona Men of Leather
The Arizona Men of Leather are pleased to share some great news with you. In partnership with our home bar The Anvil Bar, the Mr. Anvil Phoenix title contest is being revived! This year’s title winner will have the great honor of representing The Anvil Bar throughout 2024. Mr. Anvil Phoenix will proudly stand alongside the newly titled Mr. Phoenix Leather Britannic Xen Osiris Zane and the upcoming winner of the Mr. Nu Towne Leather in representing our Leather Community, as well as our city and state, at next year’s 2025 International Mr. Leather in Chicago, Illinois. Our local Leather Community will have quite the presence as I’m sure you can imagine.
Arizona Men of Leather is equally honored to be asked to revive this traditional leather title during this, our 20th anniversary year! We’d be honored to have your presence too, at this weekend of events coming to the Anvil Bar April 11th to the 14th. The men of AML would like to extend an invitation for your club to present your Colors or flag during the Presentation of Colors during the contest night on Saturday, April 13, 2024. If you would like to help us celebrate The Anvil Bar, and welcome in the new Mr. Anvil Phoenix, please reply back and we can coordinate those details.
Contest details can be found at Mr. Anvil Phoenix including applications for anyone considering a run at the title. In addition to the contest itself, Saturday night AML will also be hosting our Outdoor Dungeon in the Anvil Bar Parking Lot Party, celebrating the bar’s 14th anniversary. This Dungeon event was wildly successful last year, and we’d like to further extend an invitation for your club to setup a table/tent promoting your organization, to vend or even to bring your own play space equipment and expand the Dungeon experience. Please let us know if you’re interested!
Other weekend activities include a Contestant Karaoke (Thursday), a Cigar Social (Friday) and capping off the Sunday Victory Brunch and Beer Bust, the winner of the Mr. Anvil Phoenix Grand Raffle will be selected.
Tickets for the Grand Raffle can soon be purchased at the Anvil Bar or from any AML club brother. Prizes include a 2017 TaoTao VIP 50cc Scooter, a new-in-box 50” UHD Roku TV and a $100 cash prize, with all proceeds benefiting Mulligan’s Manor. All events are free to enter and free to attend and will be held at the Anvil Bar, located on 2424 E. Thomas Road in Phoenix.
